In my Junior year, I was selected to be a member of the Regional Youth Leadership program. As a member, I attended monthly meetings hosted at local business centers in order to learn how leadership is exhibited in various capacities from the medical, art, and activism perspectives. In doing so, we learned the important characteristics of not just regional leadership, but also the overall traits and responsibilities that are necessary for any level of leadership.
