I presented my research regarding the development of a novel aroma capture device at the 2023 Kentucky Science and Engineering Fair (KYSEF/Regeneron). Through our extensive work identifying/quantifying the aroma compounds that make up the aroma/flavor profiles of various products, we came to realize the need for such a device in specific scenarios. Testing this device on coffee beans and various flowers has proven to be very successful in capturing the aroma compounds in these various items while also drastically reducing background effects.
