My involvement with Habitat for Humanity began as an individual service project for my school's NHS chapter, but it has since become much more. To promote awareness of the organization, I founded a Habitat for Humanity chapter in my school in conjunction with NHS. While we were unable to help with the actual construction aspect due to age restrictions, we were able to organize volunteering opportunities at their local ReStore centers.
